Today I thought that it would be fun and a bit different to do one of the many 'tag' posts floating around on the Internet. With so many to choose from I was spoilt for choice but I decided on one called the 'Would You Rather tag.' If you'd like to read about others responding to this post be sure to check them out simply by typing the tag name into a search engine such as Google.
Without further ado, I shall start the tag!
QUESTIONS:
1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows? I think if I had to choose between the two I would say eyeshadows and palettes. This is because I have a lot of lip products and it would probably cost more for me to replace those than it would the eyeshadows and palettes I have. Also I could probably survive without eyeshadow but mascara and eyeliner are two of my biggest must have products.
2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again? Probably never be able to cut it again. Although saying that if I cut it all off it would all eventually grow back... but I still think I'd rather not cut it.
3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek? A lot of the blushes I own are pink so I'll go with pink.
4.) If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup? $1000 is a lot of money to spend in one go on either of these things but I don't think I could justify spending it all on makeup so clothes.
5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick? Eyeliner as a lipstick because you could be more precise and even be sneaky and try to get a eyeliner that would be a similar colour to a lipstick?
6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora? I've never shopped in Sephora before so MAC.
7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life? One eyeshadow because I love lip products too much to commit to one.
8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter? Winter clothes in summer because in England it would probably be cold and rainy anyway. haha.
9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round? Bright nails!
10.) Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?Favourite eye product!
11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun? Messy bun because at least then all your hair is out the way.
12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
I'd rather never use lipgloss because although I am a bit lip product addicted I am not the biggest fan of glosses and I find painting my nails relaxing so I would like to be able to do that.
13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
Eyebrows frame your face so as much as it pains me to say it, I'd rather sharpie them in although I know that it probably would look horrendous.
14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
Definitely nail polish.

If I Had £100 To Spend: Makeup
I saw this post back in September and it got me thinking about the makeup products that I would purchase if I was given £100 and so I decided to write my own version of the post. You can read Rosie's original post here: http://itsalljustrosie.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/if-i-had-100.html
Rockateur by Benefit £23.50
The first product that I would buy with £100 would be the Rockateur cheek powder from Benefit. I've heard amazing things about this particular product and seen some pictures of other bloggers wearing the product and it looks amazing. I wouldn't usually spend this much money on a blusher so this would be a product that I would treat myself to.
Mac Lipstick in Ruby Woo £15.00
I have had my eye on this lipstick for a few months now and so if I had £100 to spend on makeup this would definitely be a purchase for me. Described as a matt blue-red shade it is supposed to suit almost every skin-tone and would set me back £15.
Mac Lipstick in Crème Cup £15.00
Another lipstick from Mac that I would buy as part of my £100 spending would be this gorgeous looking shade called Crème Cup. I am a massive fan of pinky shaded lipsticks and feel this would be a great addition to my collection. I think I also featured this on my September wishlist, but I still haven't found the opportunity to buy it yet.
Mac Eyeshadow in Nylon £12.50
Mac Eyeshadow in Blanc Type £12.50
As I am running out of the eye shadow I am currently using, I on the lookout for a new shadow to replace it. I came across this shade when browsing on the Mac website and thought it was a really lovely beige shade so I've added it to this post.
Mac Eyeshadow in Charcoal Brown £12.50
This is turning into a 'If I had to spend £100 in Mac' post at this rate and so to end my spending in Mac I would finish off by purchasing a final eyeshadow in Charcoal Brown. I think this colour would be perfect for the crease and also to fill in my brows, so that's two purposes for one product. Brilliant.
Sleek Blush in Rose Gold £4.49
I got slightly carried away when I was mentally purchasing products from the Mac website, so it leaves me with about £10 left to spend. I think for the last £10 I would go to Sleek and purchase two of their blushes because I have loved 'Flamingo' so much and would love to expand my collection even further.
Whilst browsing on the website I came across this gorgeous shade. I've seen other beauty bloggers and Youtubers wearing this shade and it looks amazing. It would also be different from the blushes I already own and although it looks as though to have a fair bit of shimmer in it, I would still love to try it out.
Sleek Blush in Life's A Peach £4.49
For my final purchase I would buy another Sleek blush, this time in the shade 'Life's a Peach.' Although it looks extremely bright and orange in the picture online I would hope that like Flamingo it doesn't look as scary when it is on the cheeks as you don't need much product. That would bring my total to £99.98, leaving me with just 2p leftover. I'm actually surprised by the amount of products that I would be able to buy as I would get three blushes, 2 lipsticks and three eyeshadows for this price, with most of them being higher end products.
Total: £99.98
It was a lot of fun to write this post and mentallu spend £100 on makeup and to plan what you would buy. However it has now made me want to buy all of these products, which may not turn out to be so great and will have a negative effect on my bank balance!

Having never tried an eyeshadow from Mac before and being keen to try out new shadows and expand my collection, another purchase would be the Mac eyeshadow in Nylon. From the description online it is a gold shimmery shade and I think this would compliment my hazel eyes.

Beauty Things I Suck At
When it comes to applying makeup and following beauty regimes, we all have things we are good at and others that quite frankly we suck at. I was thinking about all the things I hate doing in terms of beauty because I am rubbish at them and thought that I would share these.
False eyelashes
When it comes to applying false eyelashes, it all goes wrong. It doesn't matter what type they are or if they are a full lash or individuals, I can never get them exactly right. One reason for this may be because I hardly ever wear them or it may because as I struggle to apply them I hardly wear them. I always struggle because I either don't apply enough glue or too much and then it goes everywhere and turns into a disaster. I also probably don't have the patience to take my time and apply them and I never know when the glue is tacky enough so I've found the best way to get over this is to avoid wearing them!
Applying primer before foundation
I am AWFUL at applying primer simply because I don't do it. I forget to prime my face so often and it's only when I'm halfway through applying my foundation that I remember. Bad I know, but when I realise I don't take off my foundation and start again, I just simply carry on with what I was doing.
Applying eyeshadow underneath the eye
Eyeshadow is something I don't really get on with. I like applying it and I've started to wear more of it recently, it's just that I find it's not the best thing to do in a hurry. I cannot apply eyeshadow underneath my eye as part of a smoky eye look or for that matter any kind of look because it looks as though I've just been in the shower with all my makeup on and it has run. Major panda eyes! I remember when I first started to wear makeup I used to regularly wear very dark eyeshadow here and it looked awful so it just brings back bad memories. Now I stick to eyeliner, because it's much easier.
Blending eyeshadow
Notice a theme here with eyeshadow? I admit, I can apply eyeshadow perfectly well to my lids if I'm only using one colour, but as soon as blending is involved I'm out. I cannot to save my life blend through my crease and end up totally ruining my eye makeup. Instead of a blended look, where you can clearly see the colours, I do a good job of blending all the colours into one, which really frustrates me. If anything, this year I really want to get better at this blending thing, so I can wear different makeup looks, so I guess it's time to start practising.
These are just a few of the beauty things which I suck at, and if I sat here for longer I could probably think of lots more. Why don't you let me know what beauty things you suck at?

What's In My Bag?
I recently got a new bag and I've noticed that it has quickly got heavy and is so full of stuff that instead of waiting a few months to write a what's in my bag post, I've decided to write it right now! Let's go..
The bag itself was a birthday present and was from River Island. Prior to my birthday I had my eye on this bag and so when I was asked what I wanted, this was near the top of the list. I haven't had much success with bags in the past because it takes a while for me to find one I like and then once I've found it I'll usually keep using it until it breaks. Recently I've been using a smaller across the shoulder bag from New Look, but decided it was time to invest in a bigger one.
I absolutely the bags from River Island and so this was the first place I looked. I didn't have to look for very long, and I found this matches my purse as well which was a bonus. In terms of price, I think they are quite reasonable at £45 because it will last me a long time and it is so gorgeous.

When I tipped out the contents, I was a little surprised at the amount of stuff I have in there. I don't usually have everything that is in my bag currently but because I went out over the weekend there are some strange things in there.
Firstly I have my iPad and stylus. An absolute essential for me for checking emails, twitter, facebook, instagram and other tasks. The stylus isn't used as much, but is used when sketching or drawing usually.
After a sunny August and continued sun so far this September, my sunglasses have never been too far away. To reduce the chance of them breaking and getting scratched I keep them in this pouch from Next.
At the weekend we went out in my Dad's car and so I decided to bring this CD along with me to listen to. I've loved this album so much and must have listened to it a lot when it was first released. More recently, I've had a break from it but rediscovered it this weekend and I can still say I love it. My favourite songs from the album are the hidden track Weight Of Living Pt 1, Oblivion and Laura Palmer.
Whilst my sister has been on holiday in Turkey, I've been using her camera to take the pictures used in my blog. Although it is a pretty good camera with a front LCD screen, I've missed the quality of my Sony. However, this camera is great for parties and events because if you are taking a picture of yourself and friends whilst holding the camera, you can see yourself on the front screen. I love the colour of this as well and it has the ability to film too.
A more typical find in my bag is my River Island purse and my keys. These are always in there and although at the time I didn't know this but my purse actually matches my bag quite closely which is a bonus.
On my set of keys I have my car keys and house keys along with a keyring my mum brought me from her holiday to Cancun in Mexico a few years ago.
Also in my bag I have my tangle teezer hairbrush, my inhaler and my little compact mirror which comes in handy when I am out and about. These three are usually found in my bag and they all make my life a little bit easier.
I actually didn't realise how many smelly products I had in my bag until this post. I probably don't need all of these, but I like to have a bit of variety in my bag. Firstly on the left is some body spray from Boots and it smells absolutely amazing and is a really summery smell because it smells of mango and passion-fruit. It is a lovely body spray for when you need to freshen up, and I sometimes use this as a replacement for perfume.
Next I have the new compressed version of the Sure deodorant and this is brilliant because it is small and can easily slip into your bag.
Finally I have two products by Calvin Klein in my bag at the moment and these are the CK One Shock for her perfume and body lotion. I actually have two sizes of the perfume and this 50ml size is perfect to put into your bag so you can reapply throughout the day if necessary. The only problem I find with carrying perfume is that I'm scared the bottle will break in my bag so it is a bit risky. The body lotion is in my bag for if I feel like I need to apply the product and it also compliments and enhances the CK perfume if I'm wearing it because it smells exactly the same.

As I was out and about over the weekend, I carried my blog book and some pen and pencils around with me just in case I had time to scribble down some ideas or to write a post. I use this notebook as a way to write down all the posts I would like to write as well as information that I will be using within the post. Colouring pencils are used to colour code parts of the book as well, as I focus on writing about different topics.
As everybody knows it is important to stay hydrated and so I try to keep a bottle of water in my bag for when I get thirsty.
As I have been loving this lip tint from Rimmel, it has found it's way into my bag. This shade actually lasts a long period of time so I don't really find the need to reapply it that often so I'm not really sure why it's in my bag.
Another essential in my bag is my trusty iPod nano. I've had this for a fair few years now and it is always in whichever bag I'm using as I listen to it a lot.
Finally in my bag I have a sample of the Rimmel Stay Matte foundation which I am going to try and possibly write a post on in the future.

The Naked Face Campaign
After recently starting to blog more regularly, I've realised that I love to read other people's blogs as much as writing my own. Last week, I came across a post called 'The Naked Face Campaign' written by a blogger called Lolli K. In this post she tagged anybody who wanted to write their own version of the post and thought that I would take up the challenge. You can find Lolli K's post here: http://lollikelly.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/the-naked-face-campaign.html
I wear makeup pretty much every single day and almost every time that I go out in public. It definitely makes me feel much more confident and for this reason you will hardly ever find a picture of me without any on. However, 'The Naked Face Campaign' has influenced me into exposing and embracing my natural face and it highlights just how different you can look. I wish I had the confidence to step out without any makeup on, but I know that I am a long way from achieving that, but I still wanted to be a part of the campaign. I don't think I've posted any photos of myself onto this blog so far and so this will be the first time you will properly see what I look like, which makes this post slightly more daunting. However, here we go!
Here is what is going to be included in this post:
1. 3 things that I like and don't like about myself and why
2. A picture of my 'naked face'
3. People that I tag in this post
3 Things that I don't like about myself
1. My moles! I have a lot of moles, both on my face and my arms and legs. Although they aren't a major problem, I've never liked them and I have way too many for my liking! Luckily most of them on my face are quite small so they are hardly ever picked up on camera, which is good for me
2. Spots. I know as a teenager I cannot necessarily expect to have flawless skin. However, spots are just one of those annoyances which never seem to go away. I try to be good and cleanse, tone and moisturise my face, but I still get pesky blemishes.
3. Under eye area. I always find concealer a must usually because I am quite prone to darkness underneath my eyes. I sometimes get circles here as well, which shows I probably need to get a bit more sleep than I do sometimes. It's not a major issue for me though, just something that I am aware of.
3 Things I like about myself
1. My eye colour. Most people will say that my eyes are brown. They most definitely are not. If anything they are hazel and I love my eye colour. When I was younger I wished I had blue eyes, but I have grown to love my eye colour and I find that on some days they appear to have more green in them than usual. I think they compliment my hair colour and skin tone as well and they look as though they 'belong' on my face.
2. My eyebrows. Ever since my auntie first plucked and shaped my eyebrows for me and then brought me my own set of tweezerman tweezers for christmas a few years now, I have regularly kept them in shape. I love the shape of my eyebrows at the moment and although I do fill them in slightly I don't think that I go overboard. I think it's really important to have natural looking eyebrows as they frame your face and it is so easy to over-pluck them so it is an important job! I've always been told eyebrows should be sisters, not twins and I've tried to follow this philosophy.
3. My hair. I really love the colour of my hair. I don't think that it is too dark or too light and think that it compliments my skin tone and eye colour so well that I've never found the need to dye it. During the summer it naturally lightens from the sun, but I think I prefer it in the winter months when it is slightly darker. I also love the length of my hair and my current side fringe, although I am always trying to grow it longer so I've cut down on how often I use my straighteners and curlers.

People I tag in this post:
Similarly to Lolli K, I don't want to pressurise people into thinking that they have to make their own 'The Naked Face Campaign' post. I know for some people it is a big deal to be pictured without makeup so I don't want people to think they have to do it. However, now that I've done it it wasn't as scary as I thought it would be! Therefore, I tag anybody who reads this post and wants to try it out :)
